The 2026-27 guide to Greater Seattle Area Art Spots is available now!
Introducing: Show Your Spark
I have done some HEAVY brainstorming these past few weeks about what I’d like Show Your Art to be! It’s great as-is where I occasionally sell a book or two and showcase art venues on Instagram, but if I’m honest with myself, I want something more substantial, community building, and long lasting. That means I have to experiment. I would love (if any of these resonate with you) if you’d like to experiment with me!
I’d like to launch a low-cost, virtual class series for Show Your Art. A space to try out fresh, weird, or useful ideas for artists.
LOOKING FOR INSTRUCTORS:
✖️ NOT “how to draw” (there are so many wonderful venues that have classes to help artists get more skills)
✔️ YES to: business of art, history, niche or experimental topics (Think: pricing weird art, creative rituals, etc.)
Must be virtual unless you have a public venue space & you’ll get feedback from attendees in a form afterward.
Are you a community builder in the arts?
If you need help in creating info sessions where artists can connect with you and learn to apply to your art walk, public event, or group show, reach out!
-
Can be virtual or in person, but you must host the event and have a public space provided (I’ll be there to support!)
Are you a small business/nonprofit/cool corporation that loves helping artists?
If you are enjoying what Show Your Art is doing and want to be a founding sponsor of this project (imagine the impact you could make), I’d love to have a chat with you on the possibilities of this partnership and what it could include!
