Through live demonstrations, you’ll explore essential tools, techniques, and best practices used by modern digital artists. By the end of the session, participants will leave with practical skills, creative inspiration, and a starter framework for building their own multimedia artwork.
Cam Smith is a Seattle-based artist whose work raises questions about the social impact of technology. His work has been exhibited at the Tacoma Art Museum, the Bellevue Arts Museum, the Pacific Science Center, Base Camp Studios, and galleries across the Pacific Northwest and nationally. He is the resident artist at the hackerspace Passable and a member of the artist collective Common Area Maintenance. He regularly engages with the public by giving talks, attending symposia, and writing articles. He recently published “AI MUST DIE” with Michael Walton, a Biden-era AI policy expert, which offers critical perspectives on how AI is owned and governed in 2026.
