Build Your Own Solo Show is a practical four day workshop series for artists who want to turn their artwork into a polished exhibition plan. Participants will learn how to choose and organize their pieces, think through layout and presentation, create artist labels and show materials, plan basic marketing, and prepare for opening night. The class also includes guidance on professionally pitching a solo show to galleries, shops, and venues, including spaces featured in the Show Your Art guidebook.

***As part of the series, participants will have the opportunity to display their work for one night at Abbey Arts Center during a June 20 artist reception.***

About the Instructor:
Mikki (they/them) is a mixed media artist with a background in marketing, branding, and community building. Since moving to Seattle in 2022, they’ve curated and co-curated multiple shows and vendor markets across the city, and they’re ready to share what they’ve learned.
